Cântarea bisericească — formă de identitate a vieţuirii isihaste
We often have the impression that certain Orthodox Christians are not satisfied with their own identity. Eastern roots are often confused with everything that had a negative meaning in the Eastern space. However, the Orthodox Church is not only of the East. Through its forms of manifestation, it belongs to the whole world and to all humanity. However, the external developments are specific to a very well demarcated cultural space. Paradoxically, it was not this space that was the key element in the development I mentioned, but the internal structure of the Church, i.e. the spiritual life. If we talk today about worship, icons, chants, this is precisely due to this internal structure of the Church. That is why contemporaneity cannot afford to change the actual states at will, they being the most faithful expression of the content full of reality of the spiritual life.
