The celebrations offeasts in the world context we live in today is an opportunity for a spiritual reinforcement, for it brings together the man and God with all His Saints. This encounter is differently experienced these days in terms of spiritual intensity, as the religious celebrations nowadays suffer from secularisation and desacralisation. On our way of spiritual growth, what we need is to treat the feast as a moment in which we can reconcile the earthly with the heavenly matters, the fleshly with the spiritual things, for the feast is not merely a festive moment repeated each year, but an eternal invitation for the man to prepare himself to become friend of God, in the manner of Saints.
