In the theological research “The Christian Family – Icon of the
Divine Love”, Rev. Prof. Dr. Ioan C. Te[u analyses the present situation
of the families in the Western society and presents the teaching
of the Church concerning the family, the childbirth, the friendship
and the marriage. Focusing mainly on the work of Saint John Chrysostom,
the author of the research emphasizes the importance of
the family in the Church and in society. The Christian family is a
created icon of the divine love in the Most Holy Trinity and provides
life in the world coming from God, The Father of the lights.
The author speaks also of the most important aspects of the theology
of the family: respect, love, isotimia, responsibility etc.
