The author of the historical research „The Letter of Bishop
Basil of Roman in the context of the conflict between Metropolitan
Gherontie and the Great Cneaz Ivan the 3rd”, Nicolai Zagnat analyses
important yet unknown historical document in order to represent
the political and religious connections between the Romanians
and Russians during the reign of the Great Cneaz Ivan the 3rd. Searching
Russian documents, the author realizes the dialogue between
the hierarchs of this two nations and the debates on liturgical
and theological issues.
