Ipostasul compus al lui Hristos în teologia bizantină
17 Decembrie 2013
The term „composition” (synthesis, compositio) was used in christological dogma. It considers the union of the hypostasis of the Son of God and human nature in the person of Christ. Its beginning is before Fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon. It had as representatives Origen, the greek priest Malchion and St. Cyril of Alexandria. The expression was used by heretics: Aryans, Paul of Samosata and Severus of Antioch which was opposed by many byzantine theologians, including Scythian monks.
