The author of the theological research called “The Theology of
the Baptism of the Lord in the prayers of the Church”, Rev. Assist.
Dr. Ioan Valentin Istrati, analyses the main troparia, prayers and
liturgical chants of the Church, related to the event of the Baptism
of the Saviour. In order to discover the deep meanings of this saving
event, the author realises a commentary of some of the main
prayers and their theological effectiveness in the Holy Mystery of
Baptism in the Church.
