The current study has tried to outline - without issuing claims of completeness here - the way in which the Triodion hymn presents Virgin Mary. Thus, our target emphasizes the main connections between worship and theology, showing that the presence of the Virgin Mary in worship is natural and does not overshadow the revealed truth and teaching about God. On the other hand, the appointments given to the Virgin Mary in the texts of Triodion indicate the ʻnamesʼ of the Virgin Mary in the songs of the Great Lent period.
