The Moldavian monasteries are seen through their exterior painting as an “aesthetic category with an universal value”, but they are hidding more deeply treasures. The life in Christ lived in the Holy Spirit as the outpouring of Heavenly Father’s love is the fountain bearing inner treasures present in Moldavian monasteries. The value of Moldavian monasteries, source of clean live for the seekers of sense and spiritual depth, has two essential parts: the theological message as an witness of faith in Christ, present in the wall frescoes, and the patristic phenomenon linked to St. Paisie Velicicovschi from Neamt Monastery.
