The paper propose a way of seeing prayer through the eyes of Jeremiah, the prophet. In this context, the prayer is according to Jeremiah a relation between man and God. The paper looks at the prayer in three different ways: the relation between Jeremiah and God, between Judah and God, between Jeremiah, the people and God. The main idea is that prayer should be based on a sincere and truth relation with God. The Lord does not accept a formal prayer, but one which sees Him as a True Living God.
