Facing of many challenges to the reverence of the Mother of God, formulated by representatives of Protestant and New-Protestant denominations, the Orthodox answer needs to be strongly argued. The present study aims to review these heretical formulations, together with all the aberrant modalities of a mariological cult altered by heterodox formations, equally offering the point of view of Orthodox missiology to these controversies, based on various revelatory, scriptural and patristic grounds.
