The author of the historical research “The monastic world in
the literary work of Mihail Sadoveanu” is the Archimandrite that
takes care of the Memorial House Visarion Puiu and Mihail Sadoveanu,
of the Monastery of Neamt, and the abbot of the Vovidenia
Skete. The research analyses the novels of the great writer in
order to emphasize the monastic life that surrounded him and the
role the monks had in his cultural formation and in his novels.
