The Father Mihai N. Cârlănescu is one of the greatest priest
figures of our Church – an apostle, a patriot and a scholar. Parish
Priest of the Church of „Saints Michael and Gabriel” in Bogdănești,
in 1904-1934, Father Mihai N. Cârlănescu has been involved in social
and cultural activities, in the round of “Deșteptarea sătenilor”
and, especially, as editor and manager of the newspaper “Vestitorul
satelor”.
