Father Arsenie Boca is one of the most important personalities of Romanian Orthodoxy and Monasticism from the last century. His profound and improved life, his realistic and practical teachings made him popular for crowds of believers who sought and followed his advice, both during his life and after moving to the heavenly one. The pilgrimage to his tomb, from the Prislop Monastery, exceeds the magnitude of a local phenomenon. In the study entitled ”Spiritual Teachings of Father Arsenie Boca in regard to facing to Troubles and Suffering”, the author tried to present his fundamental ideas concerning the origin, causes, consequences, and the deep moral meanings of trials. The piece of writing also describes the ways of healing and redemption. We are convinced that in times of pandemic, but also of moral crisis, such as these we are going through today, his words have the power to bring light and tranquility, peace and salvation.
