The Identification of our Savior Jesus Christ with every Human
Through His ministry, Christ restores the assumed human nature, reestablishing, with His sacrifice on the Golgotha, the divine image lost by Adam. The incarnation of Jesus Christ was made possible by the mystically union of the two natures in the Person of the Logos and that brought the reabilitation and the renewal of the whole human nature. Thus, the Incarnation is the beginning of our salvation and deification, therefore of our holiness. The human holiness is fully realized by the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, because “God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life” (John 3, 16). The Sacrifice of Christ is continuously made actual in the
Church through the Holy Liturgy, through the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist.
