The author of the historical research “Historical references on
the Romanian Principalities and on Romanian rulers in the diplomatic
correspondence of the State of Moskow with the Orthodox
people in the Balkans in the first half of the 16th century” analyses
two letters of extreme importance, where a nun, Mother Anghelina,
former princesse of Serbia, to the Great Cneaz of Moskow, where
the Romanians are mentioned as founders and benefactors of the
monasteries in Mount Athos.
