The origins of the education system in the classical period of ancient Greece

The Greek ideal was to accomplish the perfect, God-like man/woman who was so good, accomplished in all ways mentally, physically so that he or she could be considered beautiful. There were many intellectual fascinating games that help us understand the layers of rituals underneath, the view on life, death and the values that feed the ancient conception over the world. Socrate’s “know thyself”, Plato’s love and Aristotle’s golden mediation are the defining elements of the Greek morality, guided more by the sense of harmony than by imperative, strict laws.
